Mined Land Reforestation Project Locator Tool

HOW TO USE THIS TOOL
The function of this tool is to geographically visualize and locate potential project areas. The map includes layers that allow users to determine whether the project is within defined focal geographies, such as watershed, landowner, state, county, etc. The user can turn these layers on as needed by clicking the eyeball symbol to the right of each layer in the legend.
By clicking the yellow polygons in the Mined Lands layer, the user
can view basic attributes for the selected area.
Green Forests Work has developed this project tool to share locational information on areas in need
of reforestationon formerly mined land. Funding for this project has been provided by a grant from
the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation’s Central Appalachian Habitat Steward Program.
